Apparently I made a mistake somewhere in my Spanish translation. The effect is that after log-in the control panel just shows blank pages.

To translate I use KWrite editor, because it can write in the necessary codepage and it highlights the syntax errors so I think, that that should be all OK. Is there a log file where I can see and debug what is causing the error?
