Hi,
I'd like to ask you all to vote to apps that should be in the Installapp tree.
At the end I'll make a list of 10-20 apps and start porting them under installapp.
10-20 good, fresh and usable apps could be better then 163 old and unusable.
Any thoughts?
Brgds,
Semir
EDIT: Keep it up, guys! I'll only start if there is enough interest

Beehive 1.0.1 The current version offered in the installapp is severely outdated at 0.7.1.
tehforum.co.uk/forum/index.php?webtag=DEFAULT&msg=38101. 1 is the message at Teh Forum with the download link for the latest version.
PHPBB3 Which is up to 3.0.9 phpbb.com
Ajax Chat 0.8.3 sourceforge.net/projects/ajax-chat/files/ Integrates with both PHPBB and Beehive forum software.
flashchat tufat.com Integrates with both PHPBB and Beehive forum software.
phpMyChat sourceforge.net/projects/phpmychat/ Don't know about this one. Never tried integrating it.
MediaWiki mediawiki.org/wiki/Download
TikiWiki info.tiki.org/Tiki+Wiki+CMS+Groupware
Dew-NEWphpLinks dew-code.com/
Particle Link particlesoft.net
PHPLinks sourceforge.net/projects/phplinks/
phpFormGen phpformgen.sourceforge.net
Many of these we've used in the past and had good experiences with them. We currently use Beehive and PHPBB3 for providing free hosting services for forums on most of our sites. We also use AJAX chat for chat services. We we're using X7Chat, but I wouldn't recommend it. When it comes to support, the developer seems to be the invisible man.
Decent blogger, a site IM set up, maybe a shoutbox of some type.
A section telling people where they can download some good free stuff for their computer, that would help them work on their sites, like putty, or an ftp client like the one offered free at CoffeeCup.com, and links to those sites or their free products might be nice.

Semir, it is a very good idea! A few apps are necessary, but how can we make this simple and useful Installapp, with updated aplications. for me are the necessary:
1.Joomla
2.Drupal
3.Wordpress
4.Coppermine Gallery
5.-a Wiki script-
6.CMSmadesimple
and a few other scripts..
Is possible to make a new Installapp aplication scipt?

Also, an editor in the file manager that doesn't spread it's input box way across the screen whenever you're working on a page with a paypal button on it. Constantly side scrolling is a pain when you're editing. Finding a way to keep the input box a certain size, instead of letting it just s-t-r-e-t-c-h across the screen would be really nice.
