key_buffer = 32M
myisam_sort_buffer_size = 32M
join_buffer_size = 1M
read_buffer_size = 1M
sort_buffer_size = 2M
table_cache = 4000
thread_cache_size = 286
interactive_timeout = 25
wait_timeout = 7000
connect_timeout = 10
max_allowed_packet = 400 M
max_connect_errors = 10
query_cache_limit = 2M
query_cache_size = 12M
query_cache_type = 1
tmp_table_size = 16M
skip-bdb

[mysqld_safe]
log-error=/var/log/mysqld.log
pid-file=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid

[ndbd]

Maybe something wrong with sock. Try:
service mysqld stop
mksock /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
service mysqld start

Back to 'original' my.cnf and then mksock again ( read http://forum.lxcenter.org/index.php?t=msg&th=17512 ). Maybe the lastest my.cnf not work on your system

grep -lsr max_allowed_packet /usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/
/usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/httpdocs/thirdparty/phpMyAdmin/libra ries/server_variables_doc.php
/usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/file/my.cnf.lowmem
/usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/file/lowmem/my.cnf.lowmem

There is a dump section in the my.cnf.lowmem file that may help you.

What specifically did you do to try to fix it? I just wonder which of the files you tried and the sections. Maybe paste some of the stuff so we can see how it looks.

Please paste thethe actual changes that you made. Also if you only tried that my.conf file, you must have ignored my previous attempt to help you.
