i was upgrading to centos 5.3 on my hypervm slave and start seeing this on 'ps aux':

root     15666  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:39   0:00 [blkback.17.sda1]
root     15667  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:39   0:00 [blkback.17.sda2]
root     16270  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:46   0:00 [blkback.18.sda1]
root     16271  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:46   0:00 [blkback.18.sda2]
root     16889  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:53   0:00 [blkback.19.sda1]
root     16890  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:53   0:00 [blkback.19.sda2]
root     17480  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:56   0:00 [blkback.20.sda1]
root     17481  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        S<   02:56   0:00 [blkback.20.sda2]


tried to search on google but can't get any useful information, what is blkback? should i worry about HDD problem?

They are kernel level processes waiting on the harddisk. Search for blkback in google.

i did search on google, but what i found are patches and no explanation about what it is.

It appears this is a Xen issue.

Post this in the Xen forum in the HYPERVM category. You posted this in the LxAdmin category, an entirely different product from HyperVM.
