Hello,
I've been reported about this by a few clients, but now I've experienced it myself.

I logged into my LX installation, didn't logout, but did close the browser.
I opened the browser again, and I was still logged into the LX installation.

It's now 17:23 local time, and here is the login history:
client-NAME client-IP 15:42 23 Apr Still Logged -

You can clear out the LxAdmin session directory. I don't notice this because all of my companies computers use FireFox and we automatically delete the cache, cookies, sessions, etc. from the browser upon close.

The LxAdmin session directory is /usr/local/lxlabs/lxadmin/session.

this is not a browser related issue, it happened here with firefox as well.

manually deleting the cache/session directory doesn't seem to me like a real solution.
any other options?

I was just mentioning that the reason I don't notice this is that I have all of my companies computers (not in any way affiliated with LxLabs) running Firefox with an automatic deletion of that data.

You will need to wait for LxLabs to respond as they should be able to answer this with a (hopefully) good solution.

Sessions are scavenged when scavenge is run. It takes some time, but it will eventually get cleared at midnight.

so a user might stay logged in until then?

if he closed his browser at 00:01, he might stay logged in for almost 24 Hours???
isn't that too much...?

A session should probably expire in an hour if there isn't any activity... That should be added to Lxadmin and HyperVM. Or even better, a configurable duration in the settings, so that the admin can choose a time period.

If I remember correctly, there is (or used to be) an option in LxAdmin that allows each user to specify how long the session should exist on the server.
