I have vps setup at home so i could test out my voip application.
Now i want to move it to real hoster and i have setup the account and everything.
I can do a back up and restore what happens to my template?
Is there a way to do backup so all the template specifics r also captured?

2)Or can i creat a vps on top o the hosters vps by installing openvz on the vps and then hypervm . Will this work ?

Can i get this info as soon as possible?

You posted this under the Lxadmin section of the forum... but you probably don't use Lxadmin.

So, what kind of VPS are we talking about? Do you use HyperVM? With OpenVZ or Xen virtualization? What operating system are you using in this VPS?

What kind of VPS's does your future hosting provider offer?

Depends on how much is your hosting provider willing to cooperate. You could just create a template of your current VPS and ask your provider to use it for your new VPS.

Otherwise, you could backup your current VPS and restore it over the new VPS.

In both cases, you might need to adjust your network settings afterwards.
