Installatron is professionally developed by a company that cares about their clients desires, and who is willing to modify for numerous things.

Installapp is developed by LxLabs. That says enough.

Hi,

Installapps could be as good as installatron.
I do not think that there is something wron with the basiscs.

However due to system changes, outdated script versions it is one big bug and could cause security issues for customers because of the bugs in the scripts to install.

I do not understand why this is still an issue, just reduce the amount of scripts and keep them up to date and why the "full fledged team" that you promised has no results yet.

We lost several customers yet, not everyone is able to install a script himself ans all the other compagnies have working installers and if there is an issue than it will be solved.

I asked kindly several times about the status and what could be done, i offered my help to update the scripts but no reaction from Lxhelp.

So again, can you please solve this issue?

Regads,

Steven

Hi,

I would like to add this:

I can understand that it is a lot of work to update all the scripts available in install apps.

So according to me the solution would be:

Make it complete configurable so we can maintain the apps our selves and add the apps we want. It will safe you a lot of work.

The other solution is make the installation of Installation available on the enterprise setup.
I always thought it was not possible due to lisence issues with Installatron om the enterprise setup.
However, if you read the answer of Phil it can be done.

Thanks,

Steven

Installatron itself has the ability to operate under your configuration. Our Control Panel API has been extended to distributed architectures on both Windows and Linux.

However, there are two problems:

First, the LxAdmin integration for Installatron was written by and is maintained by LxAdmin. LxAdmin opted not to support Enterprise, and we lack intimate knowledge of the LxAdmin architecture that would be required to add support.

Second, licensing. For our Control Panel API we require a "pay for what you use" licensing model in lieu of per-server licensing. See the "inhouse" section of this page for details. If support is added to Installatron for Enterprise, we're willing to create a model specifically for Enterprise that compliments its own model better (of which we're currently unaware).

Overall, this is really something we need to ask LxAdmin about. We would be more than happy to assist LxAdmin in adding Enterprise support.

Hi,

Phil (form Itron/Installatron) send you an e-mail several days ago about this.
However, you did not respond.

So i doubt if you are willing to solve this.

Maybe you can better remove this from your website:

Main Features:

In built Application Installer. Kloxo InstallApp is the largest application installer with more than 100 applications.

Every single application gives the error: can not copy to root dir or give database errors beside the outdated versions.

Regards,

Steven

Yes, that should be removed from their page. Maybe when they decide to release a proper version (if ever), they will use proper English as well and say built in rather than the incorrect 'in built.'

I would very much like to see Installatron available on Kloxo Enterprise, or at least until my company makes our own system to manage Kloxo and our custom script installer.

Just my thoughts.
