hi

I was updading Kloxo today and it went into a end Less loop to download lxwebmail4370.tar.gz

I Interrupted it and runned it again....it completed with some error in webmail

after that, when i try to upload a file and Overfile existing option enabled....i get "file_exists_not_owned [/home/*****/herb******//index.html]

All files are chowned to ownerr properly though

Still I am facing this problem. Please tell me how to resolve this issue. All my domains are not showing any pages. If i create new page then its showing but not old pages

We have the same problem. We updated to last version of Kloxo, if we want to edit any file via Kloxo File manager, we got following error -

file_exists_not_owned [__path_customer_root ...

We need to fix this ASAP.

I'm guessing that some of the functions in the control panel are limited by recent security updates, since these functions were improperly implemented in the first place. The problem described in this thread is unlikely to go away any time soon.

Once the vulnerabilities get addressed, these functions will likely return to normal.

I wouldn't advise letting customers use HyperVM or Kloxo at this moment. Even more, I would strongly advise shutting down the control panel entirely.

If you really must use it then limit the access to your IP with a firewall and shut it down again as soon as you accomplish the specific task (adding customers, etc.).

I am also suffering from this,
And to make it worse I get the following when doing an update home.
"could_not_get_version_list"

So How do I update to the version with the bug fixed? Interesting!

Just wait a few weeks and hope that there will be a new LxLabs developing team.In meantime look for alternative software if LxLabs discontinue.

I have this problem.
Last modified version I installed my new and I see the same error.
Even more interesting here with FTP file transfers can also this error is displayed:

cannot upload file .... File Path

Please help. I hope and overall high cost in iran, I setup a server.

Start reading the "Future of LxLabs" section of this forum.
This product is effectually dead Sad . At least for the next few months. Looks like it may go open source.
Anyway look for another product is my suggestion. cPanel price for a VPS is not as bad as you think.

To fix this issue

Replace the file 
/usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/httpdocs/htmllib/phplib/lxlib.php

with the file attached with this message,The file is not encrypted as I do not have Zend (Original one is encrypted),You can open it with any text editor to view its content

There was a very small mistake in the function check_file_if_owned_by_and_throw So I fixed it.

Hello, has anyone completely resolved this issue? Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere else but my searches in the forum have been inconclusive. with the lxlib.php shipped with kloxo i CAN upload files but i cannot edit and save them. the first lxlib.php file posted by umeet didnt do anything at all. the second file posted by zietbukuel allowed me to edit and save but i cannot upload files. i get the same error "file_exists_not_owned ".

Please help. This is the only thing so far thats stopping me from deploying kloxo. I think it's a wonderful product! Thanks.

PS I am using Centos 5.4 i386 in a vmware esxi virtual machine if that makes any difference. doubt it does but just wanted to put that out there.

PLEASE NOTE----------

Installing this file will BREAK things like enabling mail forwards due to the permissions changes I believe. I have reverted to the older file after spending an entire weekend trying to figure out why mail forwards were no longer being created.
