Hello Everyone,
Just want to one more time offer condolences and may Ligesh rest in peace as he found none here.
As everyone knows there is a scramble knowing that HyperVM was left with grave vulnerabilities and the company is in a tossup.
We have been long time customers of LXLabs and end up in the same situation as all of the HyperVM based VPS hosts in this time.
I would like to note that our team has made public a HyperVM replacement that will be compatible with HyperVM migrations. We have also maintained the HyperVM price structure. This replacement will not at first offer as many features but will have a simplified user interface and will offer all the required core functionality to manage VPS's.
Below is the offical announcement.

We have all learned the tradgedy of LXLabs. All we can do now is start recovering. After thinking things through reading threads and making several responses to threads. We have decided to fastrack the development of our HyperVM replacement script and make it available to the public. We had already started on a change because we were wanted KVM support to get rid of Xen + OpenVZ. For obvious reasons, we wanted to keep OpenVZ + Xen as available drivers.
The timeframe for this development is going to happen very quickly. As we have already started the development some time ago. In a few weeks we are going to be providing some private beta tests and screenshots. Within a month we should have a solution released. I know that the community needs a way to migrate and manual migration is going to be too painful for many companies. The good thing is we were building this system with the same architecure of HyperVM. This is going to make it easy to write an automated migrator that we will provide to new clients.
After talking things over we have decided that we will match the VPS pricing of HyperVM at $0.50/usd per container. The only difference is we require a 10VPS minimum buy. So basically to start out it costs a base fee of $5.00/mo this base fee helps us cover the cost of Credit Card gateways etc. We think this is fair as it wont apply to most companies as they have many VPS's and is a very reasonable price for those looking to get started.
Also, since eSited Solutions provides VPS services already we will be setting a public demo hosted on our own hardware. This will give everyone a change to get acquainted with the software and decide whether they like it. I am hopeful that everyone will. We are going to simplify the interface and for right now start with a more basic set of features. Those essential to the day to day operations of a company and then we will continue building from there. Our goal is start saving the community and continue on to provide a feature rich intuitive environment.
As a final note we will be providing round the clock ticket based support along with the community forums. It is our goal to make an improvement on what support was provided with LXLabs. Of course from time to time things get overwhelming but we are already a team working on this which puts us ahead of the former company. We hope that everyone will support us in this time of development and changes for the community.
Thanks,
Panenthe Team

Perhaps you could consider for people like me an option of 5 (or less) VPS licences but charge for a set number of months upfront. For example in 6 months blocks, so that the amount you're charging to the CC is big enough to be worthwhile.

Is $5/month a barrier to you running vps?
Not sure I like the vulture post but seriously its only $5.

Yes,
We have seen enough of that for an entire year. Just in the last week.
Security testing will be one of the main goals of this project. As far as the front end goes, the system runs on PHP PDO using proper prepare and execute statements so the SQL Injection attacks will be minimal.
We are also going to screen several filemanager solutions before putting one in the system. We also will never reuse client ID's clients are lifetime Universally Unique.
Those are just a couple of the things we are doing.
