This is my problem on installing:

error: permission denied on key 'kernel.sysrq'
error: permission denied on key 'kernel.core_uses_pid'
error: permission denied on key 'net.ipv4.tcp_syncookies'
Could not Connect to Database on localhost using root user
Could not connect to Mysql server... <br> No Virtualization has been chosen. It is assumed that it is an existing installation

Anyway can't connect and login mysql. Mysql working properly.
What is the problem or what the wron setting in my machine...

To what I read, you never specified which virtualization platform to install.
Also, you need to have the MySQL root user having a blank password (no password) when installing HyperVM so it can add the database and user.
