Just installed Centos 5.3 in preparation for loading HyperVM and chose the default filesystem settings. HyperVM installed just fine, but when I went to install my first VM I go the error message not_enough_space.

I obviously am missing something on the proper setup of the filesystem to accomadate HyperVM. Lets say I have 500 gig of empty disk space, whats the best way to partition it from the get go? In the HyperVm install guide there is a hyperlink for Xen users:

"For those installing Xen, please read these extra notes, and make sure that you meet all the requirements."

but it doesn't work so I feel I'm missing some critical step in setup.

Thanks!!

After spending more time in the old threads I figured out the problem. Easiest way to fix was to let Centos set up defaults in filesystem and then just change the '/' in the volume group from taking the whole rest of the disk to something like 10 gig.

Yep is a common problem most users dont understand.
Xen = Unformatted hdd space for creating VM's.
The old extra notes on installation instructions link for Xen is missing at the moment.

I shall add it to the wiki and at the main site.
