Good day all,
I was searching for a free control panel to use on a VPS that I just set up. Nothing mission-critical intended for it, just some personal projects.
I came across Kloxo and spent a couple of hours reading the history and current status. It looks like there are still a few people around asking questions and developing. That's a good thing! It looks like Kloxo is a viable panel that just needs a little help. I haven't been involved in any other open source projects (from a developer standpoint) but I thought I might post here and see if I could offer some limited assistance in Kloxo development. I looked through some of the open bugs and feature requests and I think I could probably assist with a few.
Just to share some details about me with everyone.. I have two undergraduate degrees (A.A.S, Programming & B.S. Computer Science) and I am a graduate student pursuing a Masters in Information Systems. I've done my share of programming in PHP, some C++, and even some occasional Java.
Former experience includes eCommerce Integration Support Specialist for a large credit card processing company. I am a data analyst in my current full time job. I spend all data pulling data from MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase, and whatever other data sources the boss chooses to "need" stuff from.
I don't have a great deal of free time considering I work full time and I am a graduate student, but I am interested in helping out with squashing some Kloxo bugs. Looks like there is plenty to do!
Jeff

Great, and you are more than welcome to join.
I'm pretty sure there are a few C++ sources that need some work. Very much like Kloxo.
You should register on http://svn.lxcenter.org/ and you can get on the dev lists and introduce yourself, and I'm sure Andre Allen will pick it up, and get you started.
Welcome
