hi all, i use this command to back up my db
mysqldump --opt -Q -u dbusername -p databasename > backupname.sql
however it consumes all my server ram and my website does not open while its backing up. my database is big and it take like 5 mins or more to complete,

my question is how can i limit ram usage (say 300MB only) for backing up, is that possible?? i don't care if it takes long time to complete, i just don't want my website to go down.
