| Mirroring / Replication of Kloxo - Hotspare Failover [message #82026] |

Hello
I am looking to figuring out how to Mirror / Replicate Kloxo to a Hotspare Fail over.
Let say I have 2 or 3 servers. I have my Primary Server, with a hot-spare online.
I want to be able to add domains to the Primary and have all the changes/files replicate / mirrored to the hot-spare server.
This is just in case my primary server hosting a few hundred websites crashes or has connectivity issues, I'd like to be able to bring the hot spare in another Data center online quickly.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this?
let me know
Thanks!

I'm doing that with a pair of VPS servers I have. Basically, I replicate a bunch of /home & mysql directories selectively using rsync. Both servers have the Kloxo master installation. The DNS server is the secondary DNS server under normal operation, then on failover the service monitor automatically runs a script that modifies DNS data using sed commands. You have to change the TTL (time to live) to 60 seconds to minimize failover time.
I had previously promised to post a recipe to do this, but Kloxo updates change directory info enough that it won't work without tweaking. Hopefully that will improve in the future.
