Hello.
How i can install mikrotik on XEN? I downloaded the .ISO file of mikrotik OS on the server.

put it on the main homefolder

in this case /home

and rename it to wincd.img

then onboot you will have it.

please make like one windows was.

this way its like xen-kvm way.

I did it but after installing and reboot, the first step of setup appear again !!

then after you need to change the boot order to

hard-disk
cd-rom

because its booting your cd after installation and reboot, everytime.

normally you can change

boot='d'

to

boot='c'

on the node you host that vps

the configuration file is: /home/xen/(vmnane)/(vmnane).cfg

change from

boot="d"

from d to c

I changed it but after reboot the VM by HyperVM panel, it changed to 'd' again! and when the VM reboot by installing process, the first step of setup appear again Sad

try to force him

click on Append To Xen Config

and write there: boot='c'

then update it.

dont place anywhere just write there and save.

on vps hypervm panel
