After upgrading RC you might notice that you no longer are able to rely on your browser to log-in and have to do it from your own memory again.

Without getting into the discussion of pros and cons of saving passwords in your browser, if you want to re-enable password saving and logging in by auto-completing the user name, then I just share here how I did it.

These instructions seem to be valid since at least version 0.2-beta.

Locate and edit

/home/kloxo/httpd/webmail/roundcube/skins/default/templates/login.html

change

<roundcube:object name="loginform" form="form" />

<roundcube:object name="loginform" form="form" autocomplete="on"/>

save the file

I don't have problem about webmail (horde and roundcube) because always use firefox. But, above change better.

Horde and roundcube not work for new install on Centos 5.6 64bit. This seems like 'IMAP' problem. But, this is different issue.

Well me too, I primarily use FF and normally did not have a problem. After an upgrade it stopped working and I started digging to find the fix.

The
autocomplete="on"

is considered a security weakness that is why they disabled it.
