After following all and nothing of the wiki & forum & google I was able to create the windows server 08 guest on the centos host with xen.
When I list all the VM I see a red dot beside the guest and see message
Disable: Click to enable winguest.vm
But If I go in the guest page and boot it there I get:
Information: boot successfully updated for winguest.vm
In all the docs it says to vnc in the guest but WHERE is the icon or how do you VNC in the Guest?
I don't see anywhere any vnc icon or else...
Also, in the wiki this part is not clear:
I had to :
ln -sf /home/wincd.img.tar.gz /home/hypervm/xen/template/
But the docs just:
ln -sf /home/wincd.img /home/hypervm/xen/template/
Can somebody change this in the wiki! I lost a lot of time to find this...

/home/xen/vmname.vm/vmname.vm.cfg will show you the display port. Add this number to 5900 and you will have the port to connect to.
Example if the display is 210 then the port is 6110.
Regarding your symbolic link, that doesn't look correct to me. I use the second one that you think is wrong though I reference an iso file not just a directory.
