Hello Team,

I am evaluating HyperVM and am new in the Virtualization business. Have chosen your product because of the simplicity and good product.

I tried to do partitions but not successful with the partition scheme. Attached is the screenshot of the partition i have done But I cannot see the full harddisk of 2996MB and the memory shows only 325MB instead if 15988MB.

Would I get help in advice how to do the correct partitioning scheme for HyperVM for XEN. Any link would be also appreciated.

My dedi specs:
Intel® Xeon® E3-1245 Quad-Core
16 GB DDR 3 RAM ECC
2 x 3 TB SATA 6 Gb/s Enterprise HDD; 7200 rpm (Software-RAID 1)

I am using Centos 5.7 64Bit and do not have VNC. I am very new to this. Please help.

Regards,
Mohamed

I just want to say that typically you would have /boot as a partition but everything else as a logical volume in a logical volume group. The group would span the entire disk, while the root LVM would be relatively small, maybe 50 GB max. I would also recommend that /home be an LVM as well so you can expand it later if needed. I don't know about software RAID 1. I hope this helps a little.
