hey,
I have a question. Is it posible to sincronizate Master with slave, in order to have the entire data (dns, db, mail, web) on both servers?
So if master will fell everything to be avaible from Slave.
And if this is not possible how can be made, does anyone tried this?
thanks for your quick unser,
dan

I described how I did that in this thread.

However, the failover server only had web, database, and DNS. During a failover condition my replication scheme leaves mail and FTP services down, since those are only available on the master server.
If it was a mission-critical server, such as a credit card processing center, then you could do more sophisticated replication with a heartbeat monitor, but for web hosting it's usually enough to keep web & database services running.
