hi guys,
i'm new in this forum
Can someone help me?
I have two question:

1) i have just installed HiperVM but i'm going to do a clean install of centOS... in the last installation of hiperVM, when I tried to create a xen vps it returned me an error:"a new xen install need to LVM". What does it means?
2) can i install both OpenVZ and Xen in the same server?

thank you very much and sorry for the bad english.

You quoted that error. Was that the actual error message?

You need to have a logical volume set up for HyperVM to use to create the disks for the domUs.
You can't do OpenVZ and Xen on the same server.

Does the root volume take up the entire volume group? You need space for it to create volumes with.
