Did you reboot from HyperVM and not just reboot from the virtual machine itself?

Can you fully describe what you have done from start to finish? Describe it as you would someone who has just logged into HyperVM for the first time.

I think that after a change like this, the reboot or shutdown from HyperVM is what triggers the actual resizing. Since you only did the shutdown before the change, it wasn't triggered, but I did ask you to do the reboot from HyperVM after you made this post. Did you ever do the reboot after the change?

I don't think what you pasted is related at all. The resizing of the volume and the file system are not handled by the domU, they are handled by the dom0 (HyperVM executes the commands). I don't have the access to the code at the moment, but I think this is during the shutdwon action (button) in HyperVM. It first resizes the logical volume and the it resizes the ext3 filesystem that is on that volume. It then finally boots up the domU. It logs this action in, again I don't know the exact, /var/log/shell_exec or shell_error or I think it is actually in /usr/local/lxlabs/hypervm/logs/shell_exec or shell_error. You should see the exact commands.
