Hi there,
Recently when I've been sending email using my Lxadmin server, specifically to Google Gmail or Google Apps email addresses, I've been recieving the error below, and the message does not send.
511 sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1 - chkuser)

The address I'm sending to does work.

Also when I email some other addresses such as Yahoo ones I recieve this error:
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.5.3 - chkuser)

How do I solve this problem and also, how do I make it a requirement to use SMTP authentication??

Thanks,

Sporkalot

Okay....
(for spam purposes i've obscured the addresses)
For the Google one:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.lxadminserver.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

It seems that googleserver is configured on the lxadminserver itself, and the mail server is treating it as a local address.

Can you just go to all and see if the domain has been added by somebody?

You added gmail.com into lxadmin? Then qmail will treat it as local address and try to deliver locally.

No Laughing , I use Google Apps which allows you to run Google services like Docs, Chat and Mail on your own domain using Google servers. All you do is change the domain's MX records and add a few CNAMES and you're ready to go- www.google.com/a

So...

MYDOMAIN.COM is in Lxadmin with it's MX records changed to the Google ones.

Is there anyway to tell Lxadmin and Qmail to NOT send the mail locally or will you be able to add this as a feature?

thanks
