Hi,
I have been trying to search and see if my problem has a solution in forum with no luck.
I have a Kloxo installation that was running fine and everything was accessible. However now it is not accessible over web.
netstat says following:
# netstat -a -p -n | grep kloxo
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7776 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 23988/kloxo.exe
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7779 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 23988/kloxo.exe
When I try to restart kloxo it return this

Does this means that service was not started properly?
Can anybody suggest anything?
My colleague might have done something when he was getting familiar with Kloxo earlier. My first thoughts were ports are changed, I have run the default port script and still no use.

I've tried scouring forum posts for information on how to get my default domain to appear, but I cannot. I've ensured that my public_html and sub-directories and files all have the right permissions. I'm accessing the site before I do any DNS changes because it's a test site. I've also run /script/fixweb, and restarted httpd, but still no dice. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated, as I've spent hours trying to see the website.

Hi,
When my scavenger runs, one client displays a different mail disk usage on the control panel, it displays an exceeded mail disk quota like 300Mb with a quota of 250Mb, when infact when you run "du -sc" on /home/lxadmin/mail/domain/myclientdomain.com manually on the terminal, it will show only 128K. Other client domain are ok, only this one.
My question is where does scavenger get the 300Mb data that he puts on the db for the control panel to display on the Mail disk usage. Is there a way to delete this?

Hello,
i have error in when client add domain

I changed the TTL value in Kloxo panel dns themes (I rebuild dns of domains) and in /var/named/chroot/var/named/MYDOMAIN not change, you still receive the same maximum TTL 
does not work?

Hello,
I have the same problem with the dns file paths in http://forum.lxcenter.org/index.php?t=msg&goto=64225
I have lastest version of Kloxo, i tried :
/script/upcp
/script/fixdns
but it does not solve the problem, to fix it i do :
ln -s /var/named/chroot/etc/kloxo.named.conf /etc/kloxo.named.conf
in /etc/kloxo.named.conf domains do bad too, to fix it do it for each domain ... :
ln -s /var/named/chroot/var/named/YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME /var/named/YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME
restart
then i see in the log => the working directory is not writable
it´s right?

If you click on a VPS (On HyperVM) and then click on network setting below "Console" and try to modify any settings, you get the error "please_select_value".
Probably a bug with the script. Anyone know how to overcome this? We have some issues with VPSes with wrong gateway entry and have fixed it but of course during a reboot the setting would go back to the wrong values.
I wonder if the only way to fix this is to edit the hypervm database itself.
Anyone know if resetting the root password for hypervm (master) will mess anything up with the platforms? As far as I know this is not a problem as hypervm uses its own user but I wanted to verify with someone here.

After changing the spam threshold on an account Bogofilter stopped working. The X-Bogosity is not shown anymore and all spam is dropped in the inbox.
I have already refeeded spam en ham, restarted the server, switched program and so on.
Is there anything else I can do?

Hello,
I have a problem in our system, the traffic only updates every other day but clients received their usage notice everyday. It seems that the traffic notice where sent twice (today and yesterday)
I have check the code of scavenger... which runs the gettraffic.php and then collectquota.php. The gettraffic.php is the one that gets the traffic and update the data. And the collectquota is the one who send email.
The traffic update problem relies on gettraffic.php, it only update the data every other day. When I check the code, it only runs the "update traffic" if the last run is 19 hours ago. And this answer my problem. My gettraffic.php runs in my kloxo server with 7 slaves last up to 11 - 12 hours. Then on my next cron of scavenger runs, it was only 12 hours ago.. so gettraffic.php will not run "update traffic" and will just exit.
After the exit of gettraffic, the collectquota will run and will send email to all my clients with the data that has not been updated. The usage figures are still the same with 2 different emails.
Can this be change? i mean, scavenger.php checks if there are already running scavenger.php.. so if no one is running.. then let the gettraffic.php runs also. No need to check if the last run is for the last 19 hours.

Hello,
I just observe that the courier logs on /var/log/kloxo/ keeps bigger and bigger. Any idea on how to fix this? it rotates the file but never truncate it.

I just check the source code.. there is a function for "createRestartFile" and in that function it says that it had created a filename "._restart_syslog" in the /usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/etc/.restart/ directory .. but when i check the server.. it don't have any existing file.. Is this the bug we are looking for? Hope this help to resolv the log problem.

We are getting issue with kloxo. When we try opening the control panel we are getting zend error.

Hi !
I visit my /var/log directory to remove a few log files. I see one log file with name btmp and this take about 71MB. Can i remove this file, or if i remove i will make any problem on kloxo to run ?

Hello,
Is it possible to include in the traffic the downloading of mails via pop3 client.?
I just observed that the mail traffic only include outgoing and incoming mails via smtp. Is it possible to include also the pop3?

hi, we are preparing a migration script in order to easily migrate sites from Parallels (Ensim) to Kloxo.
At the moment, we are able to migrate the site (database, users's mailboxes and web contents) as long as the databases and users are created from the control panel. But creating 100's of mails is not doable manually.
I dont mind manually creating the site, but is there any way to create users for a given domain from CLI and assign them the encrypted password that ensim stores in /etc/shadow stored inside the site's backup ? The idea will be creating the users based on the /etc/shadow contained into the parallels pro site backup.
Also: Is there any way to create a database to a given site from CLI and assign the database user a password? I dont mind if the database differs from the parallels one name and/or password differs. We can manuall adjust this.
If so we almost have the parallels pro migration script ready.

When i installed kloxo i have created main dns template, later i created 2 more dns templates and all are active, but main template (for example template1.dnst) is missing from dns templates in kloxo admin, but template is active and i can select it in dns templates pool.
Now problem is my host has changed ip addresses and ip for main dns template is inactive and i cant go to admin login and dns templates to change ip address because i dont see that one template, for other templates i created additional i changed because i see them. Can i know where file is located so i can change it manually if its possible?

I have updated the expired lxlabs certicate. this worked for the webserver, but pure-ftpd uses the old, expired one.
How can I update the FTP server certificate also ?

Hi
I Installed Kloxo Everything is Fine ... But i See MySQL Hangs or Dies after a little Time , Dont Know Why ...
"Error establishing a database connection"
This is Error Message ... Can You Please Also Tell me How to Increase MySQL Connection Limits and Apache Connection Limits to a Higher Value so i guess it may not Crash in Future

Hi,
i have been following a tutorial that explains how to setup spam settings in the server but the only thing i want to know now is how can i bounce the emaails back to the sender if there email is blocked?.
i have looked through he spamdyke.conf file but couldnt find how to do it. I was wondering can one of you guys help me

Hello,
Facing issue with imap.
Did below
/etc/init.d/courier-imap start
/etc/init.d/courier-imap restart
but courier-imap is still stopped!
If I try:
/etc/init.d/courier-imap reload
Gets below error:

[FAILED]

If any solutions then please update asap.

Hello,
Anybody have an idea of where is the location of the template for lighttpd config. I'm trying to change/add on each lighttpd config for each domain. But dont know where can I put the change that i want. Anybody have an idea? what im trying to do is after the creation of each client/domain, the config that i made is already there automatically.

The following error "lighttpd dead but subsys locked" occurred, after switching to lighttpd. In the section "Services", lighttpd in column "State" is a red button. Switch it is not possible.
Prompt please how to run lighttpd?

Been searching the forum and can't find any answer to this problem.
One of the mailing lists is sending email to postmaster@lxlabs.com[/email] even though that address is not subscribed to the list. At first I thought it was something to do with the .qmail files in /var/qmail/aliases, but after changing their value, email is still being sent to postmaster@lxlabs.com[/email] from this particular mailing list
Any other ideas?

I installed a nginx proxy over my apache (for handling my static content). Is there a way to make sure that my ports stay what I set them to (apache to listen to 8080) in my /home/httpd/domain.com/conf/kloxo.domain.com so it doesn't change back the NameVirtualServer to 80 when I:
1. Update Kloxo
2. Use /scripts/fixweb
etc.

I use sFTP for ftp file transfer by allowing the kloxo user to the /bin/bash shell access.
File uploaded via FTP have a chmod set according to pure-ftpd umask (/etc/pure-ftpd/ .conf files) which in my case is 755 for dirs and 644 for files.
File uploaded via sFTP have 664 permission and i don't know where i can set the umask.. should i edit the user .profile or .bash_profile or /etc/init.d/sshd/ ?
